Using a Skype Subscription & Rebtel

Our Teachers generally use a Skype Subscription called Mobiles and Landlines Unlimited mins to call French landline numbers and select this Subscription.

If a teacher has a poor internet connection speed we recommend using Rebtel and select this Subscription. Teachers use their own landline or mobile to make calls to French landlines and mobiles. Rebtel is also an excellent back-up solution and highly recommended should a teacher have a problem with their internet connection too and to avoid any potential complaints.

If your Upload Speed is less then 2Mbps you are likely to struggle to maintain high quality and video during your online lessons which ultimately leads to client complaints. In this case switch off your Wi-FI and connect your computer directly to the router using an Ethernet Cable and then run the Speed Test again. We often find that you get better connection speeds when you connect directly to the router.
