Progress Reports – using Excel Template

Some of our Portals require an end of course Progress Report to be done in Excel. Requests for Progress Reports in Excel are generally sent out when a student has 0-2 hours remaining with the final lesson(s) in the next month (so the student is fresh in the teacher’s mind and for it to be completed during the final classes). Instructions are in the template for completing student and course particulars at the top of the page. To see the drop-down menu/s for the level/s: in some versions of Microsoft Office you need to click inside the segment where the level is specified – the drop-down arrow will appear on the right.

Please could you ensure that the following points are included in the reports:

  1. Content – topics covered – grammar, pronunciation, business English etc
  2. Level – touch on student level + areas which need improvement
  3. Objectives – were the student objectives achieved?
  4. Conclusion – general comments on the training – ideally end on a positive note!
