Lesson Feedback and Student Course Questionnaires

Planyo has a feature which gives students the possibility to review their lesson – the system from time to time sends an automated email to students one hour after their lesson so they can rate their lesson by choosing a number of stars (from one to five) and add their comment too. On top of this Students are sent Course Evaluation Questionnaires normally half-way through or at the end of their course and asked the following questions:

  • Was the training course consistent with your expectations?
  • Do you think you have achieved the goals you set yourself?
  • Do you think the duration of the course was sufficient to achieve them?
  • Was the teacher(s) effective and dynamic?
  • Was the lesson material varied, interesting and tailored specifically to your needs?

Teacher evaluation is extremely important to identify where we are excelling; we also encourage students to be frank and constructive in their criticism so we can also identify areas to improve our language training. Obtaining student feedback early in a course (even after 1 or 2 lessons) has the additional benefit of allowing us to hear students’ concerns while there is still time in the course and discuss with their teacher to make appropriate changes.
